Because menopause shouldn't mean career pause.
A pioneering workplace wellbeing solution that delivers personalised, proactive menopause care, helping to foster a healthier and more inclusive work environment.
The story so far
Menopause shouldn't mean putting a career on hold.
For too long, menopause has been a hidden workplace challenge, forcing countless employees to struggle in silence with symptoms that impact their wellbeing, confidence and performance. The lack of structured support has led many to reduce their hours, take extended leave, or even leave their careers altogether, not because they want to, but because they feel they have no other choice.
It doesn’t have to be this way. Menopause Companion is built on a simple but powerful belief: no one should have to choose between their health and their career.
Designed for workplaces, it empowers employers to support their staff through giving them access to a personalised menopause care plan, that covers all stages of the menopause, from Perimenopause through to Post-Menopause.
How it works
Map, manage and modify your journey
Map your journey
Tailored care plans. The platform collects and analyses user questionnaire inputs. Users then meet with a medical professional to design a customised care journey based on this data, addressing their identified needs and health concerns, faster.
Manage your journey
Proactive health management. Care journey prompts keep you engaged with timely reminders, smart recommendations adapt to your evolving data, and an intelligent assistant offers instant answers whenever you need them.
Modify your journey
Continuous care optimisation. The platform continuously collects new data from wearable tech, user inputs and medical assessments, so your care journey is reviewed and refined as your needs change.
Inside the app
What the individual actually sees
Real screenshots from the running app, not mockups.
Wellness Assistant
Ask about symptoms, cycles or general wellbeing in plain language, and get an answer grounded in menopause guidance, with a safety disclaimer and an escalation path built in for anything that needs more than general information.
Daily Check-In
Log how you're feeling against a 30-symptom catalogue (hot flushes, brain fog, joint aches, night sweats and more), each with a severity level, so patterns show up over time instead of getting lost.
My Insights
A running view of your own trends: your estimated stage (Perimenopause through to Post-Menopause), a check-in streak, and day-by-day mood, energy, sleep and stress scores.
Resources
A library of articles tagged to your stage and symptoms, from "Understanding perimenopause: what to expect" to "Talking to your GP about menopause symptoms", surfaced when they're actually relevant, not a generic list.

Origin story
Started by a nurse who lived it.
Wendy Madden, a nurse at University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) NHS Foundation Trust, founded the Menopause Companion programme after experiencing first hand the challenges of menopause in the workplace. Having taken 11 weeks off work due to severe symptoms, she recognised the urgent need for structured support to help colleagues navigate menopause, and launched the first programme of its kind within the NHS.
We had the privilege of working alongside UHB and Wendy in developing and refining this programme. Building on the learnings, data and real-world feedback from UHB, we developed Menopause Companion into a scalable enterprise solution, enabling businesses everywhere to provide comprehensive, personalised menopause support to their employees.
We are redefining what menopause support looks like, creating a future where every workplace embraces menopause with confidence and care.
